Apart from the Greek government, the rich couple of ministers Papadimitriou-Antonopoulou

Dimitris Papadimitriou and Rania Antonopoulou were a couple  of ministers of the Greek government. Both of them are now out of the government. The reason is the turmoil that erupted when it became known that the deputy Labor Minister Rania Antonopoulou was receiving  a rent allowance of 1000 euro per month at a time when the crisis in the Greek economy deepened and the citizens became poorer.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras urged Ms Antonopoulou to resign. A few hours later, her husband, Minister of Economy and Development, Dimitris Papadimitriou, submitted his own resignation, which was accepted.
